Our mobile hand wash starts at $80 for a sedan, $90 for an SUV/crossover, and $100 for a truck or 3-row vehicle. This is a complete professional hand wash — pre-rinse, snow foam, two-bucket wash, wheel and barrel cleaning, tire dressing, streak-free dry, and exterior glass. Premium and exotic vehicles add 20%. Subscribers save 5–15% on every visit.

Drive-through car washes use rotating brushes or cloth strips that drag dirt, sand, and debris across your paint at high speed. The result is hundreds of micro-scratches called swirl marks — visible under direct sunlight, especially on dark colors. Our hand wash uses the two-bucket method (one for soap, one for rinse), pH-neutral shampoo, dedicated microfiber wash mitts, and microfiber drying towels. We never use brushes, never use harsh chemicals, and never wash one vehicle with the same media as another. The cost difference (a $15 drive-through vs an $80 hand wash) is dwarfed by the cost of repairing swirl-marked paint.

A basic exterior hand wash takes about 45–60 minutes. Larger vehicles (SUVs, trucks) take 60–75 minutes. We never rush — proper hand washing requires time for the foam to dwell, careful two-bucket technique, and panel-by-panel drying. Our clients typically schedule wash appointments while at work, at home running errands, or in their condo garage during a meeting.

Our mobile unit is completely self-contained — onboard water tanks, generator, and all equipment. For San Diego vehicles parked outdoors, we recommend a weekly or bi-weekly hand wash. Coastal vehicles (La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Coronado, Encinitas) need more frequent washing due to salt deposits — every 5–7 days is ideal. Vehicles in inland areas (Escondido, Poway, Chula Vista) can stretch to 10–14 days between washes. Ceramic-coated vehicles can go longer. Most of our subscription clients schedule a bi-weekly wash with a monthly full detail.

Absolutely. We regularly hand wash vehicles in apartment parking garages across Downtown San Diego, Little Italy, Pacific Beach, and La Jolla. Our mobile unit is compact and designed for tight underground spaces. Some properties require permission from management — we coordinate this for you. There are no water marks, no runoff, and no equipment left behind.

Yes. Our pH-neutral shampoo and two-bucket method are explicitly designed to be safe for ceramic-coated and paint protection film (PPF) vehicles. Drive-through washes void most ceramic coating warranties because they introduce contaminants and abrasive damage. We are an authorized maintenance provider for vehicles coated with Ceramic Pro and Gtechniq products.
